Advancing Maritime Innovation Through Strategic Partnership
By Shranto · 1 min read

Bangladesh Maritime University (BMU) and Dubotech Digital Limited (DDL) have formed a strategic partnership to advance maritime robotics and underwater technology in Bangladesh.
As part of this collaboration, BMU and Dubotech are jointly developing next-generation Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), combining academic research with practical engineering to build reliable, mission-ready underwater systems. The partnership also supports the development of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and other intelligent robotic technologies for applications in maritime security, underwater inspection, ocean research, and infrastructure monitoring.
Beyond product development, the collaboration provides students and researchers with the opportunity to work on real engineering projects, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to cutting-edge technology development. By connecting research with industry, both organizations aim to accelerate innovation and prepare the next generation of marine robotics engineers.
Together, Bangladesh Maritime University and Dubotech are committed to developing indigenous underwater technologies, strengthening Bangladesh's maritime capabilities and supporting the country's growing blue economy through innovation and collaboration.
